Apitherapy is the inhalation of aerosol from the hive and inhalation of bee products (honey, propolis and pollen).
Bees form aerosol with their movement and work in the hive. Set for inhalation of aerosol from the hive makes inhalation simple. An adapter that is attached to the hive has a special one-sided shut-off valve, which allows the one way movement of the aerosol to the user. Ribbed connecting tube has a sufficiently large diameter to allow the flow of aerosol from the hive 6-10 liters per second. The tube can be connected with the mouthpiece or mask. The mask has built two one-sided shutoff valves to allow suction from the tube and discharge of exhaled air to the surroundings. Due to hygiene reasons, each user should have its own tube, mask or mouthpiece.
